Fuji Recipe Viewer Support
Help for Fuji Recipe Viewer on Mac and iPhone.
Mac and iPhone
Fuji Recipe Viewer for Mac shows the recipe and preview of your Fujifilm RAF files in Finder, Quick Look and the app. Fuji Recipe Viewer for iPhone keeps your My Photos and Savedrecipes, lets you Browse published recipes, and can record a private Location Track. Both apps read your photos on your own device; see the privacy policy for exactly what is ever sent.
Mac: no recipes or previews in Finder
- Open Fuji Recipe Viewer once, then open its Settings: the Quick Look extension card shows whether the extension is on.
- If it is not, open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions, find Fuji Recipe Viewer (or Quick Look) and click the ⓘ button.
- Switch on both Fuji Recipe Viewer Preview and Fuji Recipe Viewer Thumbnail, then choose Check now in the app.
Browse and your account
Browse is part of the paid iPhone app. The app unlocks it by verifying Apple's signed AppTransaction purchase record; there is no subscription and no separate purchase inside the app. Signing in is optional and separate from that purchase — it is only needed for account features such as publishing and managing your own uploads.
If Browse does not unlock on a build you installed outside the App Store (a side-loaded or Xcode build has no App Store purchase record), retry once with a working internet connection. If it still fails, delete the app and reinstall it from TestFlight or the App Store, then open Browse again.
Location Track
- Open Settings → Location Track and tap Allow Location Access. iOS first asks for While Using.
- Then tap Allow Always Access and allow Always, so your track stays complete while the app is closed. The app never asks for location at launch or just because Settings is open.
- iOS shows the Always prompt only once. If you dismissed it or chose Allow Once, open iOS Settings → Fuji Recipe Viewer → Location and choose Always (or tap Open Settings in the app when it is shown).
- The track is stored on your iPhone and in your private iCloud database, and photos on your Mac are matched to it. Use the same Apple ID on the Mac and the iPhone, with iCloud signed in on both.
- Turn Location Track off in Settings at any time. Delete Location History… (Delete History) removes the recorded points from your iPhone immediately.
Delete your account
Open Settings → Fuji Recipe Viewer account → Delete Account…, confirm with the account you signed in with, then tap Delete Account. The app sends the exact confirmation DELETE together with a one-use re-authentication for that same account. Your local My Photos, Saved and Location History stay on your device after the account is deleted; remove them from within the app if you want them gone.
